My principal focus is translation from French or English into German, my mother tongue. I also offer translations into French or English in collaboration with native translators.
Post-editing
Proofreading & Revision
I proofread and correct translations created by other translators or by AI Tools such as Google Translate or DeepL. Web translators are becoming more efficient, but they are never perfect. Translation errors are sometimes hidden within a correct idiomatic expression and can only be detected by a trained eye.
Transcreation
I offer creative translation of advertising texts, adapting the message to take into account different cultural conditions and contexts, so that a customer-oriented message is conveyed.

Born and raised in Germany, my professional career has taken me from France to the UK and back to Paris, where I have now made my home. Languages and cultures are my passion.
As a graduate of the Ecole du Louvre and the Goethe-Institute, I offer specialised translations in the fields of art history and music.
At the Union Française des Semenciers, I became familiar with the world of seed breeding, and I regularly translated press releases for international experts and technical reports on new plant breeding techniques such as cisgenesis or zinc finger nucleases.
With a long professional experience in different areas such as finance or education, I also offer my linguistic services regardless of your field of activity.
The training I completed at Edvenn allowed me to acquire the latest translation methods and techniques.
I use the translation software SDL Trados. This world-leading software tool reduces time-consuming translation and proofreading efforts and costs while ensuring a consistent terminology.
